Overview: Purchase an AccuStaltic™ Pump and Motor Combination

What is the best way to specify and purchase an AccuStaltic pump? Good question!

Our pumps are available directly from us and through certain selected resellers and OEMS. You may specify and price your pump by reviewing the above tabs; a webstore is coming soon. Popular configurations are shown, but there are literally thousands of possible combinations. To specify your pump to the final detail, review the "build your pump" tab for the complete list of configurations. If you can't find your configuration or aren't sure what you need, that's OK. Just give us call, email, or fax us- we'll be happy to take care of you.

Your pump can come with or without a motor and control system depending on your needs. We have excellent options to suit most situations. Accu-Staltic pumps are available in 3 three ways:

  1. Pumphead alone ready to receive a hydraulic motor or shaft drive. Popular OEM option. Simply choose a pump from the tabs above, or build your own on the 'Build Your Pump' tab.
  2. Pumphead/gearbox combination, ready to receive your 56C faced electric or air motor. Ideal if you really like your motor supplier or require highly integated control. Select this option on the 'Add a Motor' tab
  3. Complete pump motor package See the 'Add a Motor' and or 'Dosing Systems' Tabs.

How long does it take to get one?

Your pump will be assembled to order from stock components, and typically will ship 5-10 days ARO. We normally have enough of everything to get you a few of almost any pump you can specify. If an option says non-stock, or you need more than 1 or 2 units, please print your cart, then call, fax or email it to us for a firm delivery date.

Step 1. Select a Pump Head

Below are standard AccuStaltic Pump configurations to choose from. Tubing is not specified here; Any standard 1/8" wall standard tube from 1/8" ID to 1/2" ID is included in the price We will confirm these details at the time of order. Standard tubing types include Prothane II™, Suprene®, or Norprene®. Other tubing types are available on request, and may incur additional costs. Common Channel and Flow Dividing pumps are priced with brass fittings standard, See the 'build your pump' tab for stainless steel fitting upgrades.

Step 2. Add a gearbox and or Motor

After you have chosen your pump, you can add one of the motor packages below. Any pump will accept any of the motor packages below- with a few recommendations where appropriate. View your cart (coming soon) for a total pump and motor package price. If adding your own motor, we strongly recommend you review the following FAQ: Calculating pump torque requirements

Step 3. Dosing Systems

Accustaltic dosing systems are simple, manual or remotely triggered pump and drive combinations that allow you to pump a highly accurate and repeatable dose, based either on time or on pump revolutions.

Simple control and setup makes them highly desireable for short-run manual, semi-automated or fully automated filling processes. Fill doses from less than 1 ml up to 5 gallons or more per dose.

Choose your pump separately, and add the dosing system below. Ideal for proportional mixing, filling up to 12 identical flows from 1 inflow, and pumping highly sensitive materials.

The dosing system is suitable for cycles up to 1 dose every 5 seconds total cycle time on a continuous basis. Faster cycle times are possible, please call for design assistance.

Photo Example Description Part Number Price
typical dosing system setup, including control box, brakemotor, and gearbox

Rotation-based dosing system

Each dose is a preprogrammed number of pump revolutions, with a fixed motor speed.

  • Allows manual or automated triggering of dosing cycle.
  • Capable of doses from .5 ml/channel/cycle to 2169 liters/channel/cycle with proper tubing
  • Fast re-programming- less than 30 seconds to change dose.
  • Accuracy: plus or minus 5% or better- call for details.
  • Can prime against negative pressure head and run dry.
  • Very low maintenance:
    • Lubricate tubing weekly- 5 minutes.
    • Replace tubing every 300 to 2000 hours, depending on fluid, pressure, and tubing chosen. 15 to 30 min.
    • Rebuild pump: 8000 hours (annually based on continuous use) return rotor for core credit, rebuild for 1/3 cost of new pump. Total rebuild time: 3/4 to 1.5 Hours

typical dosing system setup, including control box, brakemotor, and gearbox

Time-Based Dosing System:

Same as above specifications, except dose is based on a precise timed cycle and fixed motor speed. Ideal where extreme precision is less important than synchronization with other process machinery.

typical dosing system setup, including control box, brakemotor, and gearbox

Time Based Dosing System with Variable Speed Motor (Variable Speed Motor Drive not shown):

Highest level of adjustment and flexibity. Vary speed of pump and length of time to create virtually any dose from .5 ml on up per channel.

Brakemotor is replaced with regenerative brake circuit in the Variable Frequency Drive (not shown).
